A little about us...

I love being home with my kids and watching them grow. Watching them learn to do and discover new things is wonderful.

M is a typical three year old girl. She wants what she wants and that's it. She loves to be the boss, throw tantrums and question everything. "What is that" "why" "what's next" are all typical questions that we hear no less than 100 times a day (or at least it feels like it). Her new thing is picking out her own clothes each morning (can be funny and/or scary) and getting herself dressed. I do love seeing what she picks out each day. M is scared of almost everything which is surprising considering how bossy she is. She wants a puppy (so does T) but in her head a puppy will stay a puppy forever and not "get big". M has been a "daddy's girl" lately. She loves to play and snuggle with him in the evenings.

L can be sweet as can be or turn on you in a mili-second. We only thought M had a mean streak. L is a total momma's girl and does not like to share me with anyone. We are working on this. Of course we are also working on to break other habits like biting, hitting and throwing so we will see what she stops first...if any. L doesn't talk much yet but she manages to get her point across. Her new thing is learning to feed herself while making the biggest mess possible. That reminds me...thank you again T for my new vacuum. =) She loves playing in the sand at the beach, splashing in the bath tub and being outside.

T is the best husband I could ask for. He works hard for us but tries to get home in time to play with the girls each night before bed. He helps me around the house when I need it (usually with out me even having to ask!) which is great b/c some days I just don't have the energy or will to clean. He loves fishing. That hobby is his mistress. I've learned to accept it and eat the benefits. ha~ha

I am originally a Georgia girl but met T (online of all places) 11 years ago and moved to Rhode Island to be with him 10 years ago. In June we will celebrate 6 years of marriage. I love to coupon (seeing how much I save at the grocery store each week is my new hobby), scrapbook, cook new recipes and spend time w/ my friends and family. I am active in our local MOMS Club and have made some wonderful friends through it. Leaving my family was hard and I miss them dearly but I love living in Rhode Island. We live 20 minutes from the beaches and 30 minutes from Providence. Living here also has another great benefit...we get to see a distinct change to all 4 seasons. Fall in New England is beautiful! While New Englanders definitely don't have southern hospitality most are great when we get to know them. I have been fortunate enough to make some wonderful friends here. The food here is amazing. You can get authentic Italian, the best fresh seafood and great spanish food all near by.
